[Exclusive] Apple Watch Series 10 CAD renders reveal larger 2-inch display

Highlights
  • The Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to debut in September.
  • It could be called ‘Apple Watch X’ as a special 10th-anniversary edition.
  • Ahead of the launch, we got access to renders of the Apple Watch Series 10.

Update (August 2025): It has been almost a year since the Apple Watch Series 10 launched, and reports are already pointing to what comes next. While the 10th-anniversary model introduced the biggest display ever on an Apple Watch, in line with what the below CAD renders suggested, and laid the groundwork for features like blood pressure monitoring, supply-chain leaks now indicate that the Apple Watch Series 11 (expected this September) will refine those upgrades with a more power-efficient chipset and improved health tracking. For buyers today, the Watch Series 10 remains a solid option, especially with festive discounts expected as the new model nears launch.

Original story follows…

The Apple Watch Series 10 launch should happen in September alongside the iPhone 16 series. This year is expected to be a special one for the Apple Watch, with a special 10th-anniversary edition planned that could be called ‘Apple Watch X’. Rumours also suggest we might get a thinner design but with a larger display. Ahead of the launch, 91mobiles brings to you raw CAD renders sourced from industry sources of the Apple Watch X or Series 10 that give us a rough idea of its design.

This is the larger Apple Watch 10 or Apple Watch X featuring a 2-inch display, the largest ever on an Apple Watch. It’s bigger than the Apple Watch Ultra (1.93-inch) and Apple Watch Series 9 (1.7-inch). Interestingly, its dimensions sit between these two models and it’s smaller than the Watch Ultra measuring roughly 46 x 39.7 x 11.6mm. So the Apple Watch 10 will be bigger than the Watch Series 9 with a larger size and dimensions.

Looking at the renders, the Apple Watch Series 10 will feature the same design as the previous generation. The Digital Crown, square display and side button are placed the same as we’ve seen in the previous models.

It’s rumoured that the Apple Watch Series 10 or X will get a redesigned band connection system. This could be a new magnetic band attachment system for the Apple Watch Series 10. With the present design, you can attach and detach bands by sliding on the sides of the watch case but that reportedly takes up space that can otherwise be used for a bigger battery or other components. But we don’t see any evidence of this on the Apple Watch Series 10 renders. The new magnetic band attachment system for the Apple Watch Series 10 is also said to make way for a thinner design.

The Apple Watch X or Apple Watch Series 10 could launch in two sizes: 45mm and 49mm. This is a jump from the 41mm regular size that we see on Apple Watches. The current lineup is offered in 41mm and 45mm sizes for the Apple Watch Series 9 and a single 49mm size for the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

The Apple Watch X is also expected to finally feature the blood pressure monitor that has been rumoured for quite some time.
